The World Internet of Things is an ecological network that integrates intelligence, digitization and informatization. It is a new global economic carrier with deep integration of digital economy, intelligent economy, network economy and real economy. In order to promote the healthy development of the global 5G IoT industry, strengthen the exchanges and friendly cooperation in the 5G era of the IoT in the world, grasp the business opportunities of dozens of trillion new economic markets, and lead the transformation and upgrading of enterprises in various countries towards the IoT, the 2019 World Internet of Things Convention (2019 WIOTC) is scheduled to be held in October to November. The theme is "Promoting the 5G IoT World • Creating a Global Smart Economy".

The 2019 WTIOC will focus on the new highlights of the sustainable development of the world IoT, 5G network layout and application, how to build the IoT new economy, publicize the World Internet of Things Ranking List top 500, and publish the World Internet of Things White Paper (revised edition), aiming to promote the creation of a new economic model for the IoT in China and the world, provide reference for the development of the IoT industry in all countries, benefit the intelligent production, smart life and work of people all over the world, practice "building a community of shared future for mankind", and help achieve the UN's 2030 Sustainable Development Goals and the Millennium Development Goals.
