Notice on Launching 2018 World IoT Ranking List

In order to promote the healthy and sustainable development of the Internet of Things, to encourage industries to upgrade towards IoT, and to honor the units and enterprises that have made outstanding contributions to the development of IoT, World Internet of Things Convention (WIOTC) successfully created the “World IoT Ranking List” in 2017. Huawei, Bosch, Cisco, SAP, Infineon, and thousands of other IoT giants actively participated in the activity, thousands of media around the world reported and reprinted it, and experts and scholars, associations, government agencies and international organizations from many countries around the world paid much attention and supported it. The establishment of the rankings has played an active role in promoting the development and application of IoT, and has guided the sustainable and healthy development of IoT in the world.
WIOTC and other international organizations launch the 2018 World IoT Ranking List in March and start the application and selection of excellent enterprises in the world, ensuring the rankings are openly and impartially preceded. This ranking involves industries such as industry, agriculture, intelligent manufacturing (including artificial intelligence, industry 4.0), logistics, intelligent transportation (including internet of vehicles), WIT120, environmental protection and energy, covering solutions and hardware and software products of sensory perceptual system, transmission system, big data, cloud computing, storage system and intelligent terminals. The enterprises that participate in the rankings have the opportunity to become suppliers of the world of Internet of Things, enjoy the IOTIA membership benefits, and show its information in the “World IoT Excellent Enterprise Information Base”. The enterprises on the Ranking list will be selected and evaluated from the excellent enterprises; the preselected list will be publicized in August to solicit social opinions and the final list will be published by December.
